Patients may be referred to The Hand Therapy Program by a physician with a written prescription. The physician always remains the medical supervisor of the patient’s program. Other health professionals and agencies wishing to refer patients to us may do so directly. Close communication is maintained with the referral source throughout the program.

The Hand Therapy Program is staffed by dedicated, professional therapists with advanced training and experience in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. The major goal of our program is to assist the patient in achieving his or her maximum level of function in order to return to work and/or other normal activities of daily living.
